The City of Port St. Lucie has approved the sale of a 22.8-acre property in Southern Grove for $6 million, paving the way for a new Costco retail store proposal and gas station.

Costco Wholesale plans to build a 170,000-square-foot store on the site, which is located east of SW Village Parkway and south of SW Marshall Parkway. Road work on Marshall Parkway is expected to finish by the end of March 2024, following the recent land deal approval for the Costco store in Southern Grove. This development is part of the ongoing transformation of the Southern Grove jobs corridor, which is facing major changes.
