Port St. Lucie officials are advancing a proposal for a new interchange at Marshall Parkway and Interstate 95, with the project now part of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)‘s long-range plan. This initiative aligns with the City of Port St. Lucie‘s broader efforts, such as the Capital Improvement Plan for 2025-2029, which outlines $615 million in infrastructure projects across the community.
The city council has agreed to pursue a west-only interchange using a braided ramp design. Construction funding is anticipated between 2041 and 2050. The next steps will involve coordination with state transportation officials and additional studies, complementing other major initiatives such as the Bayshore Boulevard corridor improvements and the city’s ongoing focus on new development projects coming soon to PSL.
