TUITION-FREE COLLEGE FOR 2,200+TREASURE COAST STUDENTS

Graduating Indian River State College students wearing caps, gowns, and welding helmets with Promise Program stoles at Treasure Coast commencement.

Big news for the Treasure Coast:

This fall, more than 2,200 local graduates will start college tuition-free at Indian River State College through the Promise Program—powered by the Indian River State College Foundation and generous community donors.

It’s last-dollar tuition assistance, covering any remaining tuition after grants and scholarships—regardless of family income—for eligible graduates from St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties.

That means more students earning degrees and career training without tuition debt—from nursing and teaching to engineering, welding, and other high-demand fields that fuel our local economy. Many will finish an associate degree in about two years, with certificates completed even faster.
