Port St. Lucie city officials have approved the sale of 22.8 acres in Southern Grove for $6 million to allow development of a Costco retail warehouse. The project may include a gas station, pharmacy, and additional services, following the recent approval of the Costco retail store and gas station in Southern Grove. Plans were also approved for a 52-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital with medical offices in the same area. Most land in the Southern Grove jobs corridor has now been allocated, with about 20 acres still available.
