The Port St. Lucie City Council has approved the $6 million sale of 22.8 acres to Costco Wholesale for a new retail store at the southeast corner of Village Parkway and Marshall Parkway in Southern Grove. This significant development is part of the 27 new development projects coming soon to PSL, reflecting the city’s rapid growth and investment in commercial infrastructure.
The planned 170,000-square-foot store will be located across from a Costco distribution depot that is currently under construction. For more details on the proposal and its progress, see the Costco retail store proposal advances in Port St. Lucie. The sale agreement requires closing within 390 days, including time for inspections and pre-construction approvals, which will contribute to the ongoing transformation of the Southern Grove Jobs Corridor as it faces major changes.
