Police responded to a reported shooting near the McDonald’s at 3199 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd on April 13, 2026, around 9:00 pm. This incident is one of several recent cases, including a previous shooting and related robbery investigated by PSLPD in the same area. Officers from the Port St. Lucie Police Department responded to the scene.

Officers found 16-year-old Jayden Williams with gunshot wounds to his right leg. He was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators determined Williams’ injuries were self-inflicted during an attempted robbery involving a juvenile on an E-Bike, echoing other recent events such as the Port St. Lucie pub parking lot shooting where no injuries were reported.

Jayden Williams was arrested and faces charges of robbery with a firearm, violation of probation, and possession of a firearm by a minor. Andre Reid was charged with robbery with a firearm, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and tampering with evidence. Ed Cesaro was charged with tampering with evidence. All suspects were transported to the St. Lucie County Jail or the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.

Crime Scene Investigators recovered a Smith & Wesson pistol, two magazines, and collected cell phones as evidence.
